They can and should be killed in phase 1, but in phase 2 I recommend just moving to a convenient spot and allowing them to blow up.Īgatha will begin by summoning Smoldering Imps, followed shortly by two Imp Servants. Fuming Imp - These are kamikaze-style mobs that will run to you and explode, leaving a Plague Zone on the ground (which will not disappear). They will channel an immunity shield onto Agatha and must be killed in order to attack her again. Umbral Imp - Between one and three of these will be spawned at various points throughout the fight. They can be interrupted with Counterspell and are susceptible to all forms of crowd control (including Dragon’s Breath). On reaching her, they will begin channeling a heal ( Funnel Energy) and stacking damage buff onto her that lasts for the rest of the fight. Imp Servant - Pairs of these spawn at the back of the room and run towards Agatha.Smoldering Imp - These cast a low-damage Fire Bolt and can generally be cleaved down after a single Flamestrike (with Flame Patch) or Living Bomb. There are four types of adds in the encounter: Throughout this phase, Agatha will cast a low-damage Shadow Stab at you, with Agatha's Fury (simply move out of it) whenever an add dies. Throughout you will need to deal with near-constant add spawns and keep up a steady stream of damage on Agatha, with occasional burst requirements. The encounter is divided into two phases. Koralon's Burning Touch is amazingly useful - borderline overpowered - in the second half of phase 2, but doesn’t help much before then.Sephuz's Secret is viable, as there are many ways to activate it.Prydaz, Xavaric's Magnum Opus dramatically increases your sustain in this encounter, as does Belo'vir's Final Stand (but use Prydaz if you have both). The fight is long enough that you can get two uses of Time Warp with Shard of the Exodar.Marquee Bindings of the Sun King are a huge help in bursting down Agatha’s Dark Fury shield. As mentioned, Darckli's Dragonfire Diadem makes imp control much easier, especially combined with Alexstrasza's Fury.On the other hand, I highly recommend taking Ice Ward to deal with the Imp Servants. ![]() There are a lot of adds that spawn, but Conflagration wins because of the sustained AoE DPS it provides. I consider Firestarter to be a trap talent in this encounter. Mirror Image is also viable, and you should always take Alexstrasza's Fury over Flame On if you have Darckli's Dragonfire Diadem. For example, Blazing Soul can be taken if you’re really struggling for sustain, although Shimmer has more utility - and procs Cauterizing Blink. These are my preferred talents for the fight, but there are other options.
